Day 16 | Himat Khetia
Lord, You are the one who called me in Your Kingdom. I thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I was in total darkness bound by a religion in which I grew up, but You chose me and delivered me out of darkness into your marvellous light.
I have nothing else to return back to you but giving myself and consecrate my heart to You, Lord Jesus. I offer myself and my life; that You may guide and use me for Your glory.
Help me in my weakness. Work in me as I surrender to You, and I am willing to remove the things in my life that displease You as Your Holy Spirit leads me in this process. Let Your love reign in me. I surrender my life totally unto You.
You have bestowed Your love – I am child of God. Thank You, Father in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Day 17 | Sue North
Father God, I come before You and lay before You my life. In repentance Lord, I seek forgiveness when I follow my own path and forget to focus my sight on Jesus.
I pray that complacency does not take hold of me, and that each day I re-consecrate my life to You; I will listen to Your voice; I will seek Your will; I will examine my motivations and ensure, Lord, that You are the driver in all that I do and am.
Lord, I seek to set myself apart for your purpose. Give me strength and wisdom. Lord, show me when I stray from ensuring what I do, and why I do it, is for Your glory.
Uphold me in Your grace, and let me be a holy representation of You on earth. Let your kingdom come in Telford, and within our church. I surrender myself to You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 18 | Sue North
Father God, we pray for the work of all those within Telford Elim Community Church.
Lord, we pray for Your blessing as people work and serve in our KE team and Limitless, our Thrive Young Adult’s group, Serve team, Small Groups, and Wed morning club, in our Administration and Finance, in our Alpha and Bible studies, men’s and women’s fellowships, worship and tech teams, as others serve to keep our church clean, orderly and maintained, and in our Safeguarding.
And Lord, we pray that in all these missions and areas of service, You will refresh our hearts.
We consecrate ourselves in body, soul, thoughts, words and actions.
We consecrate anew all that we do as individuals, and teams, so that it is only for the glory of Your kingdom. Let us ensure all that we do, we do for You.
Help us to address any areas where our motivation is not pure, Lord, and guide us in all we do. We pray for this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

Day 19 | Liz Manley
‘1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind’ (Romans 12:1-2, ESV).
Father, may we be a pleasing aroma that seeps into those around us, living as a Christ-like example to them.
When we professed our faith before You, Lord, in those first moments of sanctification, we were on fire and wholly filled by your Spirt.
As coals from a fire keep each other hot, may we rededicate ourselves to Christ’s service, and to each other.
We are on a journey with ups and downs, but you, Holy Spirit, are our guide. May we take up our cross daily and follow You, Lord Jesus.
In Your precious name. Amen.

Day 20 | Steve Higgins
Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth. We acknowledge Christ’s Lordship in our lives. You are the one who created us in Your own image and sent Jesus to be a sacrifice for all sin. He is the way the truth and the life, the saviour of the world.
You are worthy of our worship, adoration and praise. Your Word says ‘be holy because I am holy.’ Your purpose for our lives is to live holy lives, being sanctified by the power of the Holy Spirit and word.
We offer up ourselves to be sanctified by the power of Jesus’ blood, to enable us to be fully devoted to Your calling on our lives. Lord, I give You my heart, I give You my soul, every breath that I take, every moment I’m awake, Lord, have Your way in me.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You journey with us interceding with the Father. May we continue to give You more of our lives allowing You to purify our hearts so that we can truly serve you in Spirit and truth. With Your help, and Your power at work within, we offer ourselves afresh to You. Amen.

Day 21 | Pastor Leslie
What is holiness? There are two slightly different meanings to the word ‘holy’ in both the Old and New Testaments depending on the context.
One is to set apart for God’s service or use. Thus, in the Temple certain utensils and objects were sanctified, or consecrated to sacred use. Only these objects could be used in the Temple. The Temple itself and the priests who would minister in it were also consecrated or set apart for God’s service and use – made holy.
This is one meaning which is the basis for the theological concept of ‘sanctification.’ The process whereby we are gradually set apart from the world’s values, principles and foundations, by God’s Holy Spirit, the Bible and our faithful commitment to follow Christ day by day taking up our cross.
In this sense we are being sanctified and set apart for Christ, His worship and His service, and can be holy as He is holy. May this be the reality in our church and in each our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 22 | Pastor Leslie
The other meaning is that which is found in the thrice Holy designation of God in Revelation 4. It is also the meaning for the title of the ‘Holy Spirit.’ In this sense, ‘holy’ can only be used of God.
Only God: Father, Son and Spirit are truly, perfectly distinct, truly holy. There are no spots or blemishes in their characters, no inclination to sin, nor can they be tempted by evil, no action which is inconsistent with their character and nature.
Christ was the spotless Lamb of God, the Holy Spirit is the completely pure Spirit of God, and the Father is glorious in holiness.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, our Triune God, as we continue our focus on consecration, we remind ourselves of who You really are. One of the joys of the Christian faith is that we can be confident that You are everything You say You are.
As we continue to reflect on and pray into our application of consecration in the Christian faith, Holy Spirit, guide and teach us more of the nature or character of our Triune God, and how we are to reflect Christ’s character through the way we live. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
